AAPOLY To Hold Annual African Culture Day

Mass Communication National Diploma 1 students at Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AAPOLY) will hold their annual Traditional African Culture event on the 18th of July. This project is part of the African and Traditional Communication course undertaken in the second semester of the mass communication ND1 program.

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the African traditional communication structure and how each communication system can be applied. It also provides a brief history of Africa.

This year's event will include several student exhibitions representing various tribes, including the Badagry, Edo, Hausa, Ekiti, Ijaw, and Tiv tribes.

Students who spoke in a short interview are anticipating the event as preparation continues. 

Orefuwa Adejoke, while looking forward to the event, commended the lecturer in charge and other instructors for helping with the preparation process.

“Students have been giving their best to make the event a success. The preparation for the event has been ongoing. The lecturer and instructors are trying their best, and I believe the students are returning the same energy,” she said.
