Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AAPOLY), Ijebu Igbo, will resume academic activities on Monday, 8th, January. This was disclosed through a memo signed by the management and released in December last year.
According to the memo obtained by UcjAapoly, the polytechnic, which closed official activities on the 21st of December, 2023 ‘to allow all members enjoy the Yuletide Seasons’ will resume on the 8th of January, 2023.
Meanwhile, the Polytechnic’s Rector, Dr. Mobolaji Onasanya, through a signed statement welcomed students and the entire polytechnic community into the new year. Dr. Onasanya encouraged students to embrace their challenges and celebrate friendships that will positively shape their academic and life experiences.
He also enjoined students to take advantage of every opportunity that aids learning and personal development.
A part of the memo reads: “Our dedicated faculties and staff are here to guide and support you along the way. Therefore, passionately explore and exploit the wealth of knowledge and experiences at your disposal. Engage in discussions, ask questions, and let curiosity be your compass as you navigate through the academic landscape.
“Remember that your time here is beyond acquiring academic knowledge or degrees, but also about developing as individuals, thinkers, and contributors to the society, Hence, embrace the diversity of ideas and perspectives within our academic community, for it is through these differences that we truly learn and grow.”
