The Statesmen Forum of the Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo recently, impeached its Chief Patriot; Olasunkanmi Micheal and his Deputy; Taiwo Oluwagbeminiyi.
The Chairman of the Statesmen Disciplinary Committee, Stateman Tolulope Kuti, in a letter to the school management, noted that both students were impeached due to reasons which include: misleading members against the orientation and purpose of the command, parading themselves in manners to be cultist-like and also promoting immoral dressing; activities which were against the ethics and codes of the Command.
The decision to impeach and appoint new officers became important after “several failed invitations to disciplinary committee meetings”.
Due to this, the Deputy Commander, Operation; Patriot Omonitan Joshua has been appointed to take over as the Acting Coordinator-in-Chief of the Statesmen Council.
Kuti assured the management of continuous support in ensuring a cultist-free and well-disciplined security organization.
