Omokemi Shines in Tough Win

The Mass Communication Department team got the lead in the first half through a penalty by Lekan. A Banking and Finance player  had parried the ball with his hands during the last few minutes of the first half and Lekan converted the penalty to give the Mass Comm. Department a first half lead.

The almost idle Mass Communication goal keeper was forced to make series of efforts during the second half when a freekick was placed over the bar by a Banking and Finance player.

Ibrahim came close to scoring severally but his shots kept going over the bar even as he tries to connect with the attacking flair of Testimony and Chris upfront.

The encounter saw lots of midfield brilliance from Dimeji, who ensured to keep the team under control even as Banking and Finance continued to press the Mass Comm defensive line.

A loose attack from the Banking and Finance team gave the Mass Comm. attack a breathe of fresh air when a pass from the midfield got to Omokemi who after a one-two pass with Testimony, hit the ball into the net after two tries.
