SUG Election: President appreciates management, advises students, aspirants

The incumbent Student Union President of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AAPoly), Comrade Gbadamosi Azeez had in a statement made available recently appreciated the management of the institution and advised the  aspirants and students to work for peace during the election.


The statement read: "I am felicitous to laud the travail of mother of tomorrow's leaders, the ardent Rector of our dear Institution, Professor Jumoke Bilesanmi-Awoderu with the assiduousness of the entire management who have taken the polytechnic from academic, administrative and social Lacuna to a fine-tuned peak of visible accomplishment.


"On behalf of all the students, I appreciate your distinct and perspicacious contributions towards taking this institution to the apex of her coevality. May God empower you to do more and personally soar highly."

 Gbadamosi also appreciated the chairman, Electoral committee, Mr Okunlenu S. A for his role in ensuring free and fair elections in the institution.


Having thanked the management for their support, he charged aspirants and students to shun the act of violence and see the election as an avenue to pick the right leader.

"Voting is a chance to make positive change through personal interest of choosing a good representative who is ready to dance to students' tune and maintain their connection with the management.


"Your right to choose is here, do not ignore because whoever ignores voting should not complain of imbalances. Come out in mass to support your interest by voting," he concluded.
