The departments of Banking and Finance and Accounting of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-igbo, Ogun State, have on Wednesday announced  new dress code,  sky blue and black, for students of the departments at all levels.

In a statement made available to Ucjaapoly and confirmed by the Head of Department (HOD), Banking and Finance, Mr Oloyede, on Wednesday, all students of the departments are expected to observe the dress code on Mondays and Wednesdays while  violators would  be sanctioned.

"We have decided to make our students stand out from others by  imposing dress code and ID card on them.

"How would a student be able to defend himself/herself when there's no ID card. It is now mandatory for all students to dress corporately and provide their ID cards, in other to be recognised as our students," Mr Oloyede said

He however encouraged students to dress moderately and always be with their ID cards to avoid any public embarrassment.

The new dress code will take effect as from Monday, June 10, 2019.
