AAPOLY JOURNALIST WINS OUTSTANDING NUCJ AWARD

A student journalist from Abraham Adesanya polytechnic, Ijebuigbo, Caleb ijioma has won the award of the Most Outstanding Journalist of the year in the National Union of Campus Journalist (NUCJ) National convention held recently at the Ogun state Nigeria Union of Journalist(NUJ) secretariat in Abeokuta.

Caleb ijioma thanked the organisers of the convention, saying the award is a factor that would motivate him and other student journalists to continue the quest to using their pen as tools for justice and delivering their best to ensure that campus journalism doesn't fade away in the coming years

 "I thank God for the opportunity'. Also, this is a big motivation for me and my colleagues to thrive and excel in this field of journalism. I am sure my colleagues and my school generally will be proud of this feat and I am humbled because this will serve as an inspiration to every student out there"

Activities like debates and quizzes were held at the event which lasted for two days.
