A Higher National Diploma (HND) 2 student, Gbadamosi Azeez has emerged the leader of the Student Union Government (SUG) at Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo.
He polled 293 votes and was declared winner over his opponent, Adeniji Olaide who garnered 279 votes
The election which was held on Friday, 12th April, 2019 at the institution’s Main Auditorium recorded lots of turnout and the electorate said it was free and fair.
Ucjaapoly gathered that the election results was announced by the electoral chairman, Mr Okulenu in the presence of agents representing each SUG aspirants.
Others elected include the Vice President, Orelaja Omolewa; General Secretary, Olaoye Oluwatobi; and Assistant General Secretary, Abiodun Damilola.
Others are Oshoniyi Waliu as the new Social Director; Adesanya Mayowa as the Welfare Director; and Onabanjo Damilola as the Financial Secretary.
Cordelia Chinyemere is the new Treasurer, Lamina Faruq is the Sport Director 1 while Adefeso Abiodun is the Sport Director 2.
