The Director of Sports, Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AApoly), Ijebu-igbo, Ogun State, Mr Olufemi Akintade, has said winners in all categories will go home with cash prizes.
He made this disclosure recently, during an online interview with ucjaapoly on the forthcoming fresher's cup football competition in the institution.
Akintade made it known that winners in all categories, from the first position to the third will go with cash prizes and also the first position will go home with a trophy.
He encouraged all departmental sport directors to train their players ahead of the fresher's cup competition in other to get the best players that will represent their department.
Akintade made it known that there are other games available in the institution aside football, but he claims that student have interest in football more than any other games.
The fresher's cup football competition is said to hold early next month at the institution main field.
